What is the Goal of Preschool?

April 18, 2011 by Amy Webb, Ph.D.

Today I’m blogging over at Notes on Parenting on the topic of preschools–what it’s all about and what are some of the differences in preschools. As I learned, there is a growing distinction between “play-based” and “academic” preschools and the child development research seems to clearly support one over the other. It’s an interesting topic, if I do say so myself. Check it out and all the great posts from Notes on Parenting.

What is a goal preschool? This is really a good question. And I guess I must read your posts from Notes on Parenting to answer that question.
