Ultimate Blog Party 2012

April 13, 2012 by Amy Webb, Ph.D.

It’s time to break away from child development talk for a moment to do a little blog partying. I’ve been participating in 5 Minutes for Mom’s Ultimate Blog Party since I first started by blog. It’s a fun way to meet other bloggers and there are tons of fun prizes. If you have a blog (or even if you don’t) you should check it out. You never know what interesting new blogs you might find. Have fun!

If you are new to The Thoughtful Parent, this blog focuses primarily on child development and parenting topics. I have a background in Human Development and Family Sciences and use this blog to “translate” academic research into easy-to-read information for parents. Feel free to let me know if there are topics you’d like to see me address. I’m always looking for new ideas!

I love that you're taking the academic and breaking it down into the understandable. This is sort of my "blog story", too, though my focus is literacy. I'll be checking back!
